Entry Level Package
LEAP MRT, Urine Organic Acids, Bio-Clarity
LEAP MRT Food Sensitivity - to food and food
additives. Inflammation is one of the most important things to control in
trying to achieve optimal performance and health. This test will help the
individual find out what in their diet is causing inflammatory reactions to
occur which can lead to joint aches, brain fog, migraines, irritable bowel
syndrome, inability to lose weight, bloating and much, much more. Testing these
items in blood is the first step in creating a diet that will relieve the
individual from exposure to inflammatory foods in their diet.
Urine Organic Acids -
Organic acids are metabolic intermediates produced in pathways of central
energy production, detoxification, neurotransmitter breakdown, and intestinal
microbial activity. Accumulation of specific organic acids in urine often
signals a metabolic inhibition or block. This abnormality may be due to a
nutrient deficiency, an inherited enzyme deficit, toxic build-up, or drug
effect. Testing for organic acids helps reveal activity and changes at the
metabolic level, helping practitioners discover hidden issues and pinpoint
where therapeutic focus is needed. Another benefit to this functional test is
to measure for markers of a dysbiotic gut, look for B-vitamin deficiencies,
certain amino acid competencies as well as fatty acid oxidation markers, brain
neurotransmitters, CoQ 10 sufficiency, detoxification capacity and much more.
Bio-Clarity™ Interpretive Report - The Bio-Clarity™
Interpretive Report is the most comprehensive way to take an individual’s
chemistry to the next level. It answers the important questions what does it
mean and what do I do now. It also brings together the results from the
multiple tests into an easy to read and explain report that will improve client
compliance with the recommendations made, especially nutritional support.
Each Bio-Clarity™ Report provides:
•An early warning system - identifying imbalances before
symptoms are triggered.
•A custom Health Improvement Plan - listing beneficial and
harmful foods, beneficial and harmful nutritional supplements (all sourced from
published research.)
•Easy-to-understand summaries - explaining medical terms,
what the results indicate, and relating each recommendation to specific
biochemical imbalances.
•Feedback and accountability - highlighting areas of
improvement and deterioration.
For this
package, the only BioClarity report being run is the Organic Acid test. The LEAP MRT has it's own report and does not
have the Bio Clarity report
NOTE: There will be an additional draw charge from the lab. Charges can range from about $25-$50 if you go to a draw site, and $75-$125 to have it drawn in your home or office.

LAB TESTING FAQ
1. Is the Follow Up package a follow up for the Entry Level Package, or Full Range, or both?
a. It can be a follow up for both, but is primarily a follow up of the Full Range Package
2. Why does the Follow Up Package include the Urine Organic Acids test but the Entry Level Package does not?
a. Because it is mainly a follow up of the Full Range Package
3. Why is the Follow Up Package more expensive than the Entry Level Package?
a. It includes the Phthalate/Paraben Toxicity which gives a more specific reading than the Urine Organic Acid. It also comes with a 15 minute consult.
4. How long should I wait to get the Follow Up Package after initial testing? Should I repeat the packages?
a. You should wait 3 months before doing the Follow Up. If you want to repeat the Entry Level or Full Range, you should wait 6 months to 1 year.
5. Why is the UOA (urine organic acid) included in Entry Level & Follow Up but not Full Range?
a. Because the UOA is included in the Ion Panel which is included in the Full range
6. Will I get a copy of my report?
a. Yes. If you order the Full Range Package you and Dr. Schauss will both receive a copy of your report. For the Entry Level Package, you will receive a copy and will need to sign a release allowing a BioSignature practitioner to receive a copy of your report for consultation.
7. Do I pay shipping for my lab work?
a. No. The shipping costs are included in the total package price.
8. Will I receive instructions with my kit?
a. Yes. You will receive all necessary information with your kit, including contact information for the Full Range Package Consult.
9. Will I receive recommendations on which labs to go to?
a. Yes. This will be included with the information in your kit.
10. Are there restrictions for certain states?
a. Yes. Parts of the test, such as the Complete Blood Chemistry, cannot be done in RI, NY, NJ, DE. If you are a resident of these states, you may need to drive to a neighboring state for your lab work. NY residents will receive a specific kit with details on how to get your lab work completed. More information will be provided with your kit.
11. What if I need additional support once I’ve gotten my results?
a. Additional advice or support will not be available through the Poliquin Strength Institute, or beyond the included consultations. You can, however, request additional consultation time with Dr. Schauss if you ordered the Full Range Package. Rates are $400 per hour or $125 for 15 mins. We recommend you locate a BioSignature practitioner in your area for supplement guidance, but please note that not all BioSignature practitioners have completed the Lab Analysis class and may not be able to advise you on your results.
12. Will this be covered by my health insurance?
a. It will be your responsibility to find out if your insurance will cover the testing, or parts of the testing. With your kit, you will be provided with codes that you can submit to your insurance company.
